POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for product specification and sales of Power Transmission Solution products within the commercial HVAC industry. This includes ensuring customer service, engineering, and operational needs are in place to meet customer and market demands. The position requires facilitating communication between internal and external customers including but not limited to field sales, marketing, and operating functions. Identifying the key customer service and product needs and bringing those back into the organization is critical. Requires excellent knowledge of key products, applications and industry terminology to successfully communicate our value proposition.
JOB DESCRIPTION (Key Responsibilities):
Manages assigned territory and/or assigned accounts, in accordance with strategic / tactical plans, and maintains necessary operating records and files. May require extensive travel to work with customers, support field sales, and support channel partner programs pertaining to Power Transmission Solutions growth initiatives.
May require working closely with other Regal business units to foster enhanced: cross divisional collaboration, product offering/support and Regal sales growth.
Development of a penetration plan for maintaining/growing key and target accounts in their assigned territory.
Actively communicate activity summaries, call reports and/or email / phone correspondence and promotes application successes internally and externally.
Acquires and develops an understanding of, and becomes familiar with, assigned industries and how we can maximize current product portfolio to service / grow.
Continually documents competitive conditions / activities, industry trends, economic environment, and any information pertinent to the industry initiative.
Promotes Power Transmission Solution sales through customer contact to include:- Field Sales Calls- Product / Industry Training Sessions (Channel Partners).
Documents any need for product modification, new product suggestions, and recommends enhancement in existing product programs to meet customer requirements.
Follow Regal Ethics and Safety Programs.
Adhere to all Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements relevant to the position.
Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs.
Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards.
Job duties include but are not limited to the above.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor?s degree: preferred in Engineering, Business and/or Marketing.
Experience: Knowledge of power transmission industry: preferred minimum 2 years? experience in Sales/Marketing/Manufacturing environment (or Industrial Marketing).
Travel Required: Extensive (50% - 70%)
Computer Skills: - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint- Microsoft CRM Dynamic (not required)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
