QC Microbiology Lab Technician I Nutraceuticals / Food, Anaheim, CA


Kelly Scientific Resources, a division of Kelly Services, has an immediate opportunity available for a QC Microbiology Lab Technician to work with a turn-key nutraceutical manufacturing company located in Anaheim, CA.


Pay Range: Open DOE


Job Duties and Responsibilities:





  • The Micro Lab Technician will complete various Microbiological testing duties for the Quality Control (QC) Department.



  • Day to Day Microbial Testing.



  • Microbiological reading and planning of finished goods, raw material, culture swabbing.



  • Perform laboratory solution and media preparation.



  • Process and analyze paperwork for QC functions.



  • Pathogen Monitoring Program.



  • Manage raw material micro testing program.



  • Perform water sample collection and analysis for analytical results.



  • Collect samples for environmental microbiology monitoring of manufacturing areas.



  • Assist in complaint investigations where necessary.



  • Monitor and perform lab equipment calibrations.



  • Perform data entry.



  • Perform incoming inspections of carriers, ingredients and packaging materials.



  • Perform water sample collection and analysis for analytical results.



  • Collect samples for environmental microbiology monitoring of manufacturing areas.



  • Adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product received, stored and distributed.



  • Ensure that all paperwork is properly documented and stored.



  • Must possess excellent writing skills and the ability to work well with others.




Job Requirements:





  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in Microbiology preferred.



  • One (1) to two (2) or more years of experience as a QC Technician in a Nutraceutical / Food Manufacturing facility.



  • Must have Microbiology experience.



  • Experience / knowledge of blending, encapsulating, tablets and supplements preferred.



  • Good computer skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
