Ameri-Force has an immediate opening for a Stockroom Material Handler in Anaheim, CA. This is a contract opportunity.
Stockroom Material Handler Job Duties
Moves or transports material as directed.
Handle all in-bound, receiving and inventory parts.
Stores articles in identifiable locations (according to location information) such as in bins, on floor, or on shelves.
Assists with the disposing of used crates and boxes.
Pull kits and issue backorders as needed.
Stockroom Material Handler Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One (1) year of related experience and/or training in inventory control/stockroom (receiving, storing and arranging, issuing and kitting of material) function related to the movement of inventory.
Must have experience in material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English both orally and in writing with production as well as with other material/production control functions.
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
