Claims Adjuster II

Job Description This position is responsible for the accurate and timely investigation, evaluation and negotiation of first and third party private passenger automobile liability claims, including physical damage and bodily injury claims. o Handles multiple injury features identified upon report or likely to arise during the investigation of the claim including unrepresented and/or attorney represented injury claims. o Reviews all claims assignments to ensure accuracy of prior claim handling in development of ongoing claims strategies o Proactively investigates and resolves coverage, liability and damages. o Ensures proper diary management on all claims o Accurately evaluates special and general damages o Escalates all potential large loss and extra contractual exposures through management chain. o Negotiates settlement of claims directly with the injured party, legal guardian or attorney Job Requirements o A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. o 3 to 5 years of claims experience managing injury inventory. o Claims Adjuster License o Ability to secure and maintain adjuster's license within 90 days of hire. o Strong analytical and negotiation abilities. o Ability to work independently, think creatively and exercise strong, sound judgment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
