Sr. Accounts Payable Representative

Coordinate and process complicated Domestic and Foreign Merchandise payments.
Prepare and process Wire Transfer/Draft payments.
Reconcile prepay Merch Vendors and prepare prepay payments.
Assist with the resolution of complicated payment issues.
ResponsibilitiesManage and help prioritize the processing of Domestic and Foreign Merch Invoices.
Ensure prepayments are processed within strict guidelines.
Process payments for EDI Merch vendors.
Manage drop ship vendor payments.
Review over tolerance invoices and new vendor set-ups.
Prepare and process wire transfers and draft payments.
Reconcile and breakdown debit note packets PNWS.
Review and process various merch claims.
Communicate with Vendors, Merchandising, and Warehouse to resolve any outstanding payment issues.
Work on special projects as assigned.
Complete Journal entries as needed at month end.
Process US Customs and Duty invoices.
Monitor and organize a high volume shared email in-box.
QualificationsAssociate's degree; Accounting or Finance emphasis preferred.
3-5 years of accounts payable experience, preferably within a retail company.
Strong accounting background with knowledge in Inventory and Cost Accounting.
Knowledge of monthly account reconciliations.
Strong experience working with financial systems.
Ability to work with limited supervision in a fast pace environment and respond with urgency.
Ability to work well with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
Effective written and verbal communication skills; legible handwriting is a must.
Good organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
Key boarding and 10 key by touch skills that support processing a large volume of invoices on a daily basis.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word and advanced Excel skills; v-lookups, functions, and pivot tables.
Proficiency in MS Outlook, including group mailbox management.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
